Imprints (Year 2)
Zacchaeus was a wee little man - we all know that. Too often, however, we situate this story from the life of Jesus in the context of grape Koolaide, popsicle stick crafts, and many other wonderful Vacation Bible School memories. But there's much more to the story than we normally associate. As we look at the story and its many implications over this month, we will find ourselves asking questions of wealth redistribution, community honesty, table fellowship, and syncretism (the combination of different forms of belief or practice).
