Imprints (Year 2)
During the season of Lent, we are invited to join Jesus in his journey to the cross. As we do, this month we will look at the core story of Jesus' suffering on the way to cross - an unfair arrest, unjust trial, beatings, mocking, abandonment. As we "connect the dots" to the rest of scripture, we will look at the suffering of Father Abraham as he was asked to sacrifice his son Isaac, the suffering servant described in the book of Isaiah, and the suffering of Jesus' followers in the years after his death.
