Imprints (Year 2)
It's one of the greatest times and celebrations of the year. As we have prepared for the birth of our Savior, we have been focusing on the challenge of Jesus' birth to the cultural trappings of the season. The picture below was created by our pastor (with help from a number of others) to illustrate this dichotomy. All of the colors come from Black Friday advertisements from this year's paper. It challenges us to think about what our focus is on this Christmas - the "stuff" or the baby in the manger?
